Introducing the participants of 2026

etalenta is the official partner of the Black Nights Stars Programme 2026
Ten actresses and actors from the Baltic Sea region and the Nordic countries have been selected for the Black Nights Stars programme of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, including talents from Norway, Germany, Iceland, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and Poland. Having applied via etalenta, the actresses and actors will take part in an intensive programme of workshops, panels and networking events, aimed at preparing them for work on the international stage.
The ten actresses and actors were chosen from hundreds of applicants by a jury of casting directors and industry experts: Janey van Ierland, Richard Cook, Pauline Hansson, Nina Haun, Yngvill Haga, Anders Nygaard, Lana Veenker and Eva-Maria Pellikan (German Films).
We would like to warmly thank the jury for their dedication, as well as for the time and care they put into the selection.
We are thrilled to present to you the participants of the Black Nights Stars 2026.
Please make sure you are logged in to etalenta to be able to open all profiles.

“Black Nights Stars has served as a springboard for young actors from the region, helping them secure roles in films and TV series and sign with leading talent agents,” said Claudia Landsberger, who has run the programme for the past ten years.
Discovery Campus is part of the Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event platform, running from November 16-20. Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) runs from November 6-22.
Black Nights Stars is a programme launched by the Black Nights Film Festival in 2017. It is designed to help young actors from the Baltic Sea region and the Nordics gain international visibility and promote themselves inside and outside their home territories. The programme facilitates connections with international film professionals and training in practical skills for their future international careers.
