Aurora Cossio is a Colombian actress, producer, and psychologist best known for her recurring role in the Netflix hit series Griselda, starring Sofía Vergara and directed by Andrés Baiz, the acclaimed creator of Narcos. In the series, Aurora plays Estella, one of Griselda's trusted women, a character that captured audiences worldwide. Griselda became the number one Netflix show globally in 2024, marking a major milestone in her international career.

She also appeared in the feature film The Ritual Killer alongside Morgan Freeman and Cole Hauser, released in theaters in March 2023, where she portrayed Sergeant Melissa Downs. Her performance added emotional depth to the film's dark, psychological atmosphere.

In recent years, Aurora has starred in acclaimed television dramas such as La Reina del Sur (Season 2), winner of the 2020 International Emmy Award, and Verdad Oculta, directed by renowned Colombian filmmaker Jorge Alí Triana. After her success in Europe, Aurora joined the cast of La Selección 2, the Colombian hit series based on real-life soccer legends, portraying Viviana, the lover of star player Valenciano. The series, now streaming on Netflix Latin America, expanded her recognition across the continent.

Aurora holds an advanced degree in Psychology from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia and is classically trained as both an actor and voice-over artist. She has studied in prestigious academies across Italy, Spain, Colombia, and the United States.
