Alexander Weiß wurde 1977 in Hannover als Sohn eines Gymnasial-Lehrers geboren. Er ist Mitbegründer des Dramatischen Ensemble e.V. in seiner Heimatstadt Nördlingen, das sich 1989 aus einer Ministrantenspielgruppe herausbildete und bis heute Bestand hat. Somit steht LEUKOS, wie sein Künstlername lautet, seit seinem zehnten Lebensjahr auf der Bühne. Von 2006 bis 2010 besuchte er die Schauspielakademie Arte in München bei deren Intendant Michael Schmucker; sein klassisches Schauspielstudium schloß er mit Diplom als Jahrgangsbester ab.
Bereits während seines Studiums sammelte LEUKOS Erfahrungen in Regie und Produktion; seinen ersten Kurzfilm „Ophthalmoi“ inszenierte er bereits 2004. 2008 setzte er „DADADEDE“ in Szene. 2011 stand er in der Rolle des Günther in Aron Lehmanns „Kohlhaas oder die Verhältnismäßigkeit der Mittel“, der 2013 den Max-Ophyls-Preis gewann, vor der Kamera. Seit 2012 arbeitet er an diversen freien Theaterprojekten. Zudem ist LEUKOS seit 2013 als freier Dozent für klassisches Schauspiel am Albrecht-Ernst-Gymnasium in Oettingen tätig.
Im September 2014 setzte er in Kooperation mit dem DE im Rahmen der Nördlinger Kulturnacht die avantgardistische Performance „NÖRDLINGENS teleVISIONEN“ in Szene. Außerdem produzierte er "krisensitzung", ein experimenteller Spielfilm, führte dabei Regie und stand gleichzeitig als Hauptdarsteller vor der Kamera.

Während der Corona-Zeit setzte sich LEUKOS intensiv mit dem Selbstfilmen auseinander und ist nun in der Lage, sein gesamtes Demomaterial in Bild und Ton in professioneller Qualität selbst zu produzieren. Darüberhinaus sind sogar eigene Kurz- und Spielfilme sowie Hörspiele in Planung.

2023 gab LEUKOS sein Debut als Musical-Darsteller in „Der kleine Horrorladen“ unter der Regie von Clarissa Bühler in seiner Heimatstadt Nördlingen als Orin Scrivello.

(), a Nördlingen-based Theatre Society, which evolved from a group of altar servers in 1989 and has put plays on stage ever since. That’s how LEUKOS, which is his stage name, came to act on stage when he was only ten years old. From 2006 to 2010 he attended drama academy “Arte” in Munich and took classes with its artistic director Michael Schmucker; he successfully completed his studies in dramatic art coming top in his year.
Already during his studies he gained practical experience in directing and production; he stage-managed his first short film “Ophtalmoi” in 2004 and put “DADADEDE” on stage in 2008. In 2011 he played the role of Günther in Aron Lehmann’s “Kohlhaas oder die Verältnismäßigkeit der Mittel”, a motion picture that won the Max-Ophyls Award in 2013.
From 2012 till today he has been working on various independent theatrical projects. Furthermore, LEUKOS is an instructor for classical drama at Albrecht-Ernst-Gymnasium in Oettingen.
In September 2014 he staged an avant-garde performance called “NÖRDLINGENS teleVISIONEN” in collaboration with Dramatisches Ensemble e.V. within the context of Nördlinger Kulturnacht. He furthermore produced and stage-managed “krisensitzung”, an experimental movie, in which he played the main role.

During the COVID-19 pandemic disease he specialized in self taping auditions and self taping generally for producing his showreels. Even own radio plays, short and feature films are in planning.
