Antoanella Ungureanu Actress
Antoanella is an international actress based in Prague, originally from Romania, with a native-speaker level of English, fluent in Spanish, and with a good understanding of French and Italian. Her screen debut was in Romania; she has theatre, film, and television experience in Prague and Bucharest.
Notable experiences: being directed by David Ondráček in Král Sumavy: Fantom temného kraje (2022), her role alongside Cannes-Best actress winner Zar Amir-Ebrahimi in "Please Rise" (2023), her part in the internationally awarded short-film "Forbidden" (2023) directed by Charlotte Vackova. Another outstanding experience was to work with Béla Tarr and Allegra Stodolsky for a short film produced by FAMU.
She is active in the English theatre scene in Prague, and continuously engaged in improving her acting skills in front of the camera at workshops and acting intensives. Last year, she attended David Penn’s Masterclass 'The Naked Face', INIT with Maya Kvetny and Francisco Medina in Berlin, and Casting Workshops with Arwa Salmanova and Domnica Carciumaru.
Antoanella enjoys everything about the process of acting, from the intimate laboratory of preparation through imagination and motivation, to being part of a scene through physicality, authentic response, and empathy. She welcomes the learning experience in the acting process, which inevitably happens with every interaction.
