Katharina Gerlich Actress
I am a multilingual actress, director and storyteller.
My love for storytelling began early — at the tender age of eight, I self-published my first book about a cherry searching for freedom, using my parents’ printer, crayons, and a heroic number of staples.
I later pursued acting in Vienna and London, working internationally in theatre and film. Sweet Survival, my debut short film screened across Europe, India, and the US, and won Best Horror/Thriller at the Austrian Filmfestival.
Things that lie within my comfort zone: stage combat, working with international cast & crew, travelling with only a small backpack, mending and sometimes making my own clothes and holding space for emotions.
Things I do to get out of my comfort zone: Stand-Up Comedy, renovating my own bathroom and learning new languages (currently: Spanish)
