Kuba Golla — actor, graduate of the Acting Department at the Polish National Film School in Lodz.
Recipient of the Andrzej Nardelli Award for Best Stage Debut, the ZASP "Deska Sceniczna" Award, the Grand Prix Ensemble Award for Spring Awakening, and the Acting Award at the 31st National Competition for the Staging of Contemporary Polish Drama.
He has received particular recognition for roles that operate at the boundary of history and myth — Tale of a Serpent Heart directed by Marcin Liber, and the activist, socially engaged The Kielce Protest. Who Does Kielce Belong To? directed by Jakub Skrzywanek.
In cinema, he is drawn to filmmakers for whom the camera is simultaneously an instrument of tenderness and revolt: Sean Baker, Gregg Araki, Rainer Werner Fassbinder. He looks for the same tension in theatre.
