Laura Teiwes Actress
Laura Teiwes wurde 1996 in Bonn geboren. Mit 8 Jahren belegte sie Schauspiel- und Musicalkurse am Jungen Theater Bonn, wo sie nach dem Abitur eine Regiehospitanz machte. 2014/15 arbeitete sie als Regieassistentin in Bad Godesberg und im Schlosstheater Neuwied und wirkte u.a. in »Die Leiden des jungen Werther« und »Die Vermessung der Welt« (Regie Stephanie Jänsch) mit. Von 2016 bis 2020 studierte sie Schauspiel an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt. Während ihres Studiums spielte sie bereits in mehreren Produktionen des Schauspiel Frankfurts. Von 2020 bis 2023 war sie festes Ensemblemitglied am Jungen Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
Im Herbst 2023 und Herbst 2024 absolvierte Laura Teiwes ein Praktikum bei Marie Bäumer in der Provence in Südfrankreich.
Im Winter 2024 war sie am Theater Ulm in der Produktion "Die Schatzinsel" von Charlotte von Kerckhoven zu sehen und als Gast am Staatstheater Karlsruhe in der Performance "Hunting Down Male Gaze", die sie gemeinsam mit Jeanne-Marie Bertram entwickelt hat.
Aktuell arbeitet sie freischaffend u.a. als Sprecherin im Studio 7 in Karlsruhe, MD Productions, H.D. Tonstudio Baden-Baden und im Synchronstudio The Kitchen.
Für verschiedene Filmprojekte steht sie vor der Kamera. Im Kinofilm Kommt ein Vogel geflogen (Regie: Christian Werner) spielt sie die Rolle der Siebzehnjährigen.
Mit ihrem freien feministischen Theaterkollektiv analyse schmitt kollektiv tourt Laura Teiwes mit dem Monolog Peter Pan durch Deutschland und hat im Frühjahr 2025 in Karlsruhe das Stück Mädchenschrift inszeniert.
Aktuell befindet sie sich in den Vorbereitungen zu Orlando nach Virginia Woolf, der neuen Produktion von analyse schmitt.
