Im Jahr 1994 wurde Laurenz Wiegand in Berlin geboren. Seine Wurzeln sind in Brandenburg, Schleswig Holstein und dem schweizer Kanton Graubünden. Sein Schauspielstudium absolvierte er von 2011 bis 2014 an der Schauspielschule Charlottenburg unter der Leitung von Valentin Platareanu. Es folgten Theaterengagements u.A. im berliner Gefängnistheater AufBruch, den Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart, der Deutschen Oper Berlin, der Volksbühne Berlin und aktuell im Neuen Globe Theater Potsdam. Erste Film und Fernsehrollen gab es in Filmen wie ,,Bridge of Spies" und ,,Babylon Berlin". 2020 flog er für die ARD nach Down Under und drehte ,,Barfuß durch Australien". 2021 übernahm er eine Rolle in der Netflix Produktion ,,Das Privileg"
