Biography
Maria do Céu Guerra
Directed by
Jau
My first pro gig after my degree was playing Jau—the overlooked companion to Camões—in Amor é Fogo que Arde sem se Ver. Since we know so little about him, I had total freedom to build my own vision of a man whose story stands as a powerful reminder against modern xenophobia. Jau stood by Camões in poverty until the end. Touring with A Barraca and working under master Maria do Céu Guerra was a proper privilege and an epic start.

Ensemble Leading Part
I landed a role in the NOS Christmas ad 'Rabanadas', directed by Augusto Fraga (Netflix's Rabo de Peixe - Turn of The Tide). It pushed me out of my comfort zone, and doing it at Christmas was amazing. Seeing the massive crew needed for a 2-minute spot was a great reality check. It proved I can easily pivot formats, and it was cool seeing myself on TV. I'm completely down for more commercial work and bringing my creative spin to it"
