Mariia Zaichenko Actress

I'm Mariia, an actress with brown hair and blue eyes, bringing a spark of enthusiasm and dedication to every project. My journey in the performing arts began with a lead role in the thrilling Ukrainian TV program "Creative Stunts" in 2020, where I showcased my love for physical storytelling. In 2013, I danced my heart out as a contestant on "So You Think You Can Dance," captivating the audience with every step. One of my earlier roles was on the TV show "Family Court" in 2012, where I played the daughter of a defendant, diving deep into emotional performance.

After concentrating on building my dance studio and working primarily as a choreographer, I moved to Canada and reignited my acting career, starting with extensive training. My training has been both rigorous and inspiring. I'm currently working with dialect coach Justine Westby to perfect my accents and speech. At RAW Actor Studio in Canada, I had the privilege of learning from Grisha Pasternak in master classes and on-camera auditions. The Lighthouse Acting School offered me incredible insights into on-camera and scene study with Angela Besharah. Workshops with Caroline Liem and Paul Constable, along with private coaching from Tim Kachurov and Mike Plyley, have enriched my acting skills.

I hold a Master’s degree in Choreography from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, and I'm fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. My dance skills span contemporary, folk dance, jazz, and ballroom, adding a dynamic edge to my performances. Beyond my technical skills, I pride myself on my adaptability, emotional intelligence, and improvisational flair. These personal skills, coupled with my professional training, make me a versatile and passionate performer, ready to bring any character to life.
