Meira Durand Actress

Meira Durand is a german actress in film and TV who in the first place started out her artistic journey on opera stage during her childhood. Age 8 she was discovered by producer Uschi Reich for the novel adaptation ‘Here comes Lola!’, following up with the first feature version of the classic fairy tale ‘The Star money’ (Chicago Film Festival Award 2011) Since then she has been consistently developing her path. Meira lately lived in Paris for a period. 2025 she joined the Lee Strasberg Institute for Film and Theatre in Los Angeles. Meira is now based in Berlin.

Meira Durand est une actrice allemande de cinéma et de télévision qui a d'abord fait ses débuts artistiques sur les planches d'un opéra dès son enfance. À l'âge de 8 ans, elle a été découverte par la productrice Uschi Reich pour l'adaptation du roman « Here comes Lola ! », suivie de la première adaptation cinématographique du conte classique « The Star Money » (Prix du Festival du film de Chicago 2011). Depuis, elle n'a cessé de tracer son chemin. Meira a récemment vécu à Paris pendant un certain temps. En 2025, elle a intégré le Lee Strasberg Institute for Film and Theatre à Los Angeles. Meira est désormais installée à Berlin.
