Oliver Akwe, ein waschechter Hamburger Jung, hat vor 20 Jahren seine Leidenschaft für die Schauspielerei entdeckt.
Seine Karriere begann im Jahr 2004 gleich mit einer Hauptrolle in dem FILMAKADEMIE BADEN-WÜRTEMBERG-Projekt WEIßE AMEISEN. Darauf folgte der Spielfilm AGU KAPA (SONY PICTURES) und PEPPERMINTA - ein Film der international bekannten Künstlerin PIPILOTTI RIST. Nach Olivers Auftritt im Projekt PERMISSION im Jahr 2016, spielte er in verschiedenen Theaterproduktionen, darunter GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS und HURLY BURLY. 2023 feierte er sein UK TV-Debüt in der 4. Staffel der erfolgreichen britischen Fernsehserie GRACE, in der er eine Episodennebenrolle übernahm.
