Rosaria Cianciulli Actress
I am Rosaria Cianciulli,I was born in January 5th, 1994. I am from Montella, a small town sourranded by the green Irpinian mountains. Since I was a kid I have hold in my heart the dream of becoming an actress.
For this reason, at only 18 years old, after finiscing high school, I packed my bags and moved to the US.
I got my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2015, in Acting for Film and Television. I spent one year in New York City, and the following years in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
I took part in various short films self-produced and not. The one I am best known for is Leonarda, self-produced, inspired by the true story of Leonarda Cianciulli, known as the Soap-maker of Correggio, the first Italian serial killer and my not so distant relative.
In 2016, I packed my bags, heavier this time, and decided to go back home in Italy, and moved to Rome. There, I attended some acting classes, to better anderstand the Italian scene and became a burlesque performer, better known as Venus Pop.
My passions do not consist only of being in front of the camera or on a stage, I also love the planning and coordination of these events. I worked as an assistant director on several plays, as the assistant producer in Los Angeles for the Cinema Italian Style film festival, and as the production coordinator for director Pietro Marcello for the movie Martin Eden (winner of the Coppa Volpi for Luca Marinelli in Venice, and TIFF Platform Award in Toronto), coordinating the film’s release and the world premier at the Venice International Film Festival in 2019.
