Tomas Engström Actor
Tomas grew up in a suburb to Stockholm and spent his childhood exploring every sport that was available in the little community and where he also found the excitement of performing in the voluntary drama classes available in school.
He attended every drama production he could and graduated High School with a determination of making acting his profession. But the road was bumpy.
First he did his military service as a gunner in a combat vehicle, then he studied sociology at the University of Stockholm and after that he had many different jobs all whilst applying for the prestigious Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. When he got accepted he had worked with child care, as a co-ordinator for the airport coaches, a postman, with bicycle repair, a janitor and in a cold warehouse, meeting people and being in situations that inspire him still. And also the road that led him to fulfilling his goal of having acting as his profession which is what he has done since his graduation in 2009.
