Yorgos Filippakis Actor

I instinctively decided to explore acting the year I turned 40. A few lessons led to a part in an amateur play, which led to more lessons and more parts, as much as I can do having a demanding job on the side paying the bills. Last summer I was the male lead in a play at the Edinburgh Fringe.
It isn't for the applause, but for the opportunity to tell a story, to communicate by sharing life experiences. I am planning to continue this for as long as I can.
I've always been curious about other languages, so I became fluent in English, French, Italian and German, a bit less in Swedish and Dutch. I love traveling, so I'm always up for a walk, hike, snorkel, ride or acting adventure nearby or at the end of the world.
